15 Days Kenya Camping Safari

Day 1, Transfer to Masai Mara game Reserve
After breakfast at your Hotel in Nairobi, you will be met by our company representative and will brief you shortly about your Safari. After the briefing, you will depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve driving along the floor of the rift valley which will provide you with good scenic views.  You will arrive in time for lunch after which you will go for an afternoon game drive which will reward you with views of the giant herds of plains game and the numerous predators that have made the reserve so famous such as Wildebeests, lions, Elephants, buffaloes and so on. Dinner and overnight stay at the Campsite

Day 2, Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara
After breakfast, set out for the morning and afternoon game drive in Masai Mara. You are advised to go with your packed lunch since you will have it as a picnic while in the park. You will spend the whole day driving through the nature as it was intended to be with huge plains, rolling hills and an abundance of game matched nowhere else in Africa. This day look out for animals like Leopard, lion, elephant, cheetah, buffalo and many species of antelope. Retire to your place of accommodation for dinner and overnight stay at the Campsite

Day 3, Game drive and Relaxation
After breakfast, you will set out for the morning game drive and look out for the animals that you missed out the other day in the previous game drives. Return back to the lodge for lunch after which you will rest and have a simple walk around the camp. Dinner and overnight stay at the Campsite

Day 4, Transfer to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, you will leave Masai Mara and transfer to Lake Naivasha where you will be able to reach in time Lunch. Have Lunch and in the afternoon, set out for the boat ride on the Lake to the crescent Island. You will also visit Hells Gate National Park and the geothermal power station. Dinner and overnight at the Campsite

Day 5, Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for Nakuru National Park with a game drive as you exit the Park where you will arrive in time for lunch. Have lunch and in the afternoon, you will set out for the Game drive. Lake Nakuru is very famous because of its large numbers of Pink flamingos and over 400 species of birds. Besides these the P[ark is also famous for having the rare animal species like the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. The game drive in the afternoon will also reward you with sights of other animals like Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and so on. Dinner and overnight stay at the Campsite

Day 6, Transfer to Lake Baringo
After breakfast, you will transfer to Lake Baringo. This is the threshold of Northern Kenya and its freshwaters are an oasis in the arid plains. Lake Baringo is a traditional home of the Njemp tribe which is very unique and their major activities are pastralism and fishing. Upon arrival, you will take a boat ride and cross to Baringo islands for a short walk in the forest. You will be able to see hippos in the lake from the boat. Dinner and overnight at the Campsite

Day 7, Transfer to Lake Bogoria
After breakfast, you will leave Lake Baringo and transfer to Lake Bogoria which is commonly famous as the Jewel of the Great Rift Valley. The Lake is also known for its hot sulphur water. Upon arrival, go for a short birding adventure where you will be able to see bird species like the Woodland Kingfisher, Northern white-headed buffalo weaver, Rufous crowned roller and so on. Dinner and overnight at the Campsite

Day 8, Transfer to Samburu National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for Samburu via Thompson falls with lunch en route. Upon arriving in Samburu, you will set out for the afternoon game drive in the Park. Dinner and overnight at the Campsite

Day 9, Full day in Samburu,
After breakfast at the Campsite, you will set out for the full day game drive in Samburu with your packed lunch box. Set out for the game drive in this rugged, semi-arid part of the North Eastern province. You will expect to see animals such as the long necked gerenuk, grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, Leopard and the beisa Oryx. The park also habits a lot of bird species and so you will also be able to spot different species of birds as you enjoy the game drives. Dinner and overnight at the Campsite

Day 10, Transfer o Mount Kenya National Park
After breakfast, you will transfer to Mount Kenya National park. You will start your journey with unique views of the surrounding area's wildlife missed out in the previous game drives. Later transfer to Mt. Kenya National Park which is full of mountain hills upon arrival, you will have lunch and later go for the game drive where animals commonly seen are, Baboon, Olive Bat, Banana; Bongo, Buffalo, African Bushbuck, Cats, Black and White colobus monkeys, Dogs Hunting, Dormouse, African Duiker, Black-fronted Duiker, Bush Duiker, Red Elephant, African Genet, Large-spotted Hare, African Hog, Giant Forest Hyena, Spotted Hyrax, Rock Hyrax, Tree Jackal, Black-backed Jackal, Side-striped Klipspringer, Leopard, Lion, Mongoose, Slender Monkey, Sykes, Otter, Clawless Pig, Forest Bush Porcupine, Crested Rat, Mt Kenya Mole Reedbuck, Chanler's Rhinoceros, Black Serval Shrew, and the Mole Zebra. Dinner and overnight stay at the Campsite

Day 11, Transfer to Amboseli National park
After breakfast, you will transfer with a game drive en route to search for early risers to Amboseli National Park which is considered as a land of giants. Reach in time for lunch after which you will go for a long game drive in park look out for herds of elephants, various birds, small mammals, cheetahs and more.  Amboseli is also known for its fascinating view of the always snow-covered Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania which is the highest mountain in Africa. Dinner and overnight stay at Ol Tukai Lodge/Amboseli Sopa Lodge

Day 12, Full day in Amboseli
After breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive in Amboseli national park to search for animals like Buffaloes, zebra, giraffe, elephants and many more. Besides wildlife, the park is also rich with a lot of bird species and therefore, bird watching also another activity done in the park and among the birds include: the outstand pelican, flamingo, kingfisher, African fish eagle, ibis, secretary bird, crowned crane, grey and Goliath herons, cattle egret, black-winged stilt, little grebe, Egyptian goose, martial eagle, pigmy falcon, Masai ostrich, marabou stork, white-backed vulture, lappet-faced vulture, yellow-necked spur fowl, Kori bustard and hornbills. Return back to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at Ol Tukai Lodge/Amboseli Sopa Lodge

Day 13, Transfer to Tsavo National Park (Tsavo East National Park)
After breakfast, you will transfer to Tsavo National park. This is the largest national Park in Kenya and has been split into Tsavo West national Park and Tsavo East National Park.  Upon arrival, you will go for the afternoon game drive in the Tsavo East national park and expect to see a lot of animal species such as large numbers of elephant and spectacular herds of up to 1000 buffalo. Also experience the best game viewing along the watercourses and at the Kanderi swamp which is not far from the main Voi gate. Dinner and overnight stay at Kilaguni lodge.

Day14, Full day game drive in Tsavo West National Park
After breakfast, you will go for the early morning game drive in Tsavo West National Park. This side of the Park is covered in volcanic cones, rocky outcrops and lava flows. Expect o see all the Big five animals like the Elephants, lions, buffaloes, leopard and the Rhinos along with the Antelopes. The main attractions of this park are the two waterholes which were built by the lodges to more or less guarantee that their guests will be treated to fabulous game viewing while staying at the lodges. Dinner and overnight stay at Kilaguni lodge.

Day 15, Transfer o Nairobi and departure
After breakfast, you will transfer back to Nairobi with lunch en route. Later, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home
